The 6th Annual Man Spiel is set for this weekend and the first draw kicks off Friday at 6:30pm with 24 teams playing down. The Juniors are hosting a breakfast fundraiser Saturday morning starting at 8am which consists of eggs, sausage and pancakes. So come on down and watch some curling and support the junior program at the same time.
A Learn-to-Curl mini-camp will be held on September 25th, October 2nd, and October 3rd. Each session will run from 6:30 until 8:30 PM. This is a great chance to get personally geared instruction from some of Granite’s most experienced instructors and take your game to the next level. Instruction will be personally geared towards your level of play - whether you are brand new curler or are looking for some extra tips after playing for a season or two.
The 2012-2013 Registration Form and Waiver is available. Please note that in order to be guaranteed a spot in the same league(s) you played in last year, you must return your registration form, waiver, and full payment to the club no later than September 20. Please contact either Barry Van Weiringen or Jim Sullivan if this is a financial hardship for you. All such queries will be handled in strictest confidence.
The second year curlers' party will be held on Sunday September 16 from 6 pm to 9 pm. All curlers who were first year novices last year are welcome to attend. Come on out and practice, play a pick up game, eat some pizza, and visit the bar. You'll be some of the first to experience this year's ice! For more information please email April Gale-Seixeiro at email@example.com.
