Leagues

The Granite Curling Club offers 14 different leagues that cater to a wide range of skill levels and competitive interests. With so many choices, there’s sure to be a league that’s just right for you!

Unless otherwise noted, all leagues are open to all ages and skill levels. Simply sign up as an individual or a couple and we’ll do the work of forming balanced teams that mix new and experienced people. Don’t forget that curling is a social activity as well: after each game, teams head upstairs to chat, quench their thirst, and (depending on the league) eat.

In the list below, multiple game times mean you will play at one of the two times listed depending on the week. Schedules are available prior to the start of league play, and all leagues have a substitute roster in case you need to miss a game.

If you can’t decide which league is right for you, send an email to the League Coordinator and we’ll be glad to help you choose.

Spring Leagues Start April 13th

With the Olympics approaching, GCC is offering Spring Leagues for the first time in the club’s history. If you’re new to curling, it’s your chance to “get a taste”; if you’re already a member, it’s an opportunity to keep your skills fresh and prepare for the Summer Spiel. Leagues will run on Tuesday and Friday evenings during April – June. Click here to download, print, and mail the appropriate registration form.

Registration for Tuesday and Friday leagues are now full. We have added a Thursday 10am league (not shown on the registration form) with plenty of spots available.

Learn To Curl Camp Starts April 14th

For new curlers, we’re also offering our Learn To Curl camp. These sessions cover all aspects of curling and are a great way to improve your knowledge while focusing on specific skills. Sessions run on Wednesday evenings in April and continue in September, getting you ready for next season’s leagues that begin in October. Membership in GCC is not required for participation in the Learn To Curl camp. Click here to download, print, and mail the appropriate registration form.

Registration for the Learn To Curl camp is now full. We will offer additional Learn To Curl camps beginning in September.
