50th Anniversary Celebration A Huge Success
In July, GCC celebrated the 50th anniversary of the club's dedicated ice facility in Seattle. Thanks to Cindy Garzina, Marj Yalowicki, and a tireless group of volunteers, the event was a wonderful opportunity for curlers, old and new, to experience the history and past glories of GCC. As part of the event, a video presentation was made, a history book was produced, and a commemorative pin has been issued. Copies of the videos (2-hour complete footage and 20-minute edited version) are available by emailing Tom FitzGerald; the pin can be purchased at the GCC Pro Shop. Details on purchasing the history book are forthcoming.
